The ministry of Modern Miracle is not confined nor defined by simply music. It is an outpouring of worshipful hearts and energetic, DAILY zeal to expand the kingdom of God. Re-focused, the purpose of the ministry is salvation, liberation, and love.
From rough soil in Carthage, TX, Modern Miracle is, as of 2010, back together with a new member line-up and a new sound. The group started back in 2004 and in 2005 released their first album under Soma Records entitled "Of Artists and Poets." The band has been on again off again due to a yearning for the proper members in the proper places.
In 2010 after adding Shawn Simonson on Keys/Synth and Josh Carter on bass the band polished some old songs and released their second (independent) album "From Abraham to Isaac." Compared to "Of Artists and Poets," the album was a complete change in style, lyrical content, and stage performance. The album was well received on tour in the months of June and July.
As of 2011 the band is currently working on their most personal, passionate, and encouraging album to date entitled "The Strong Man's Rebuke." Those that have heard the new material describe it as, "very progressive," "I felt like I was inside of a video game listening to that song," "a huge huge improvement," "wow, wouldn't even think it was the same band!"
With lyrics more in depth and personal than ever before, an energetic, often theatrical live performance, and a new sound described as "tenacious" and "ever-evolving" the band shoots to push the envelope and their abilities as they grow in the spirit of excellence for the Glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
