Death2Self Records has strong standards on the types of music we will play and accept for artist consideration. First and foremost, your music must be Christian. secondly, we accept several genres with the EXCEPTION of: country, death metal, western, techno, and anything that doesn't lend itself to a current, contemporary sound. This is NOT a discrimination against said genres, the situation is we appeal to a particular demographic, and the genres I listed just don't fit in with our overall appeal. That being said, I happen to be a fan of some Christian Death Metal myself and my wife comes from a family of country music lovers. This is strictly based on who we appeal to and wish you the best if you are the genres that I mentioned.
