D2S FEST is the annual special showcase event that puts Death2Self's best foot forward. The goal of this event is to bring together the family of holy hip-hop, rock and other music genres in unity to reach out to our fellow communities and encourage them with music they can't help but enjoy and one-on-one fellowship that will let them know exactly who we are and how much we care for them.

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS YEAR'S D2S FEST!
Besides the returning entourage of the previous two year's performers (including Fresh Mann, who performed at the first year's D2S FEST) we have some new faces making their way on stage, including an appearance and performance from AMP'ed RADIO co-host, Steve John!
A full six-hours of amazing performances in the hip-hop, rock and contemporary field isn't enough though. No, we also have planned activities that will include opportunities to dine with the performers at a private backstage pizza party as well as a local barbecue restaurant that will be closing their doors to everyone BUT those involved with D2S FEST '09 the day after (that's Sunday)! That's just our community's way of showing appreciation for us being able to provide good moral music!

However, money is required for the purchase of merchandise and certain refreshments during an expected 1-hour intermission.
D2S FEST '08 was a great moment for our label...
Last year's event saw a dramatic increase in the support of D2S FEST from both the artists coming to perform and the audience and church members alike. This event was the first ever held outdoors in the very center of town. While it might not have been the wisest decision to host the event in the blazing heat of the July sun, souls were touched nonetheless. With new faces such as DJ Devoted, Modern Miracle, Yungtown, Elle Es and Kym France plus the returning performers such as Spiritually Anointed and Big Zack, 2008 set the standard for what this event should be and how it will be handled from now on.
Welcome to the FIRST ever D2S FEST...
For all the naysayers and others who believe in order for something to be successful, you need to have a big, strong following... to you I pay a great deal of pity. As with all things, there is a beginning, most of which are very humbling. Yes, this first ever D2S FEST only had about 15 audience members at max. We had Fresh Mann pay his way to fly down to perform, and mind you that all this took place only three days before the marriage of the CEO's Jason "SA" Torres and Brittny Torres...therefore, a lot was going on.
In spite of all going on, D2S FEST '07 was declared by our supporting church, a success, and Big Zack as well as Fresh Mann were rewarded a big love offering to thank them for their faithfulness and outreach. This was only a taste of what was to come, and it has been seen evident that every year from here forth has been bigger and bigger. It can't be accredited to SA or those in the committee, no, the glory belongs to God.
